6.29.2008

Hello,
Here is what I wore... that's all.
Oh, and I also got some really nice bracelets and borrowed a cute scarf from my step mom...I used it as a waist-cincher for this particular outfit. It's a super suddle mix of patterns...baby steps, ya know?

(Vest, Urbanoutfits. Tank, the Limited. Flower tank, Banana Republic. Jean shorts, Levis. Gladiators, Kohl's. Bangles, Vintage. Scarf, Given. Necklace, Urbanoutfitters.)

P.S.
I was tagged the other day by Madame Dior, but since I am quite new to blogging I do not know what to do...once I find out, I'll definately do it. Thanks :)

So Many Smiles... So Little Time

I had to add these two images to this entry... I don't think I have seen MK smile so much in my life...I must say, I like it better. Perhaps her grin is testament to her incredible bohemian outfits... or could it be her new film, The Wackness...

Flying High...

I was just roaming the blog-o-sphere when I happily stumbled across this post from Flight of Phancy. I, along with many other bloggers were featured in an Inspiration Post, it made me truely happy. Thought I would share the post with others and let people know about this cool new blog.

From Left to Right: Fashion is Poison, Style Du Monde, Avenue A, Ragamala, Leposaurus Rex, That's Chic, Belle Chantelle, Cupcakes and Cashmere

Thanks again, Flight of Phancy :)

The Row

I just thought I would post one of my favorite clothes commercials: The Row Holiday Collection... can anyone say V-E-R-S-A-T-I-L-E (that's 'versatile' for those who were thrown off by the dashes lol). Just kidding, I won't insult you like that. Forgive me?
If my closet was comprised of these peices alone, I would be set for life.

Edit**
Sorry about the sub-par picture quality.

Stained Cobalt

In 1802, Louis Jacques Thénard, a French chemist discovered a color so glorious, so vibrant it burned the retinas of all the Parisian townspeople in that time period. Okay, so that didn't really happen, but he really did unearth one of the most majestic colors the world (more like I) have ever seen... Cobalt blue. I will spare you all with the boring details of how he found this color... frankly because I didn't feel like reading any more of Wikipedia.com (yes ladies and gentlemen, wikipedia can be a reliable source of information). So here is where I pay hommage to the Christopher Columbus, the Ponce de Leon of colors... Louis Jacques Thénard. Thank you sir, thank you for discovering cobalt, so that women and men everywhere can wear a color that dazzles as much as wearer does(corny, but true)!

Anyways, back to earth. Today, I went thrifting with one of my dearest friends, Holly and found a fantastic leather envelope-style clutch! It's 100% real leather and was imported from Italy (ahh, brilliant)! I scooped it up immediately. Yay to cobalt and yay to vintage purses! O and I had to wear my yellow gladiators... I think it suited the shape of the dress. It draped beautifully when I belted it... it had a casual Grecian feel that felt perfect for the summer.

Oh, and I have just realized that I am obsessed and can't stop wearing my yellow gladiators and Old Navy wedges. Trust me, I own more shoes than that lol.

Thanks again for all your comments on all my previous posts :)
